Can you put clones in rockwool?

How often do you water clones in rockwool?
Rockwool holds about 80% water and 20% air when oversaturated and needs to dry out (similiar to a soil-based medium) before it is watered again. In an ideal environment, Hugo Rockwool blocks generally need watering once a day in the Vegetative Growth Stage and twice a Day in the Bloom Stage.

Yes you could keep it indefinitely in th erockwool if you like. Tho if the plant grows bigger the roots will grow out, as long as these have no restriction and are in fertilized water there should be no problem. Professional crop growers also use rockwool slabs e.g. a metre long and maybe 10cm thick.
Do clones need a dark period?
Clones need plenty of light to root and grow, but that light needs to be less intense than what you’ll use once it’s transplanted. T5 and CFL grow lights can offer your clones the vegging (blue) spectrum they need without the intensity that could take it out.
Do clones need air flow?
You need air circulation to build humidity. Most customers will cut a hole in the top of the 6 & 3 inch domes, the 7 inch dome has vents built in.
Why are my clones wilting after transplant?
Some totally wilt over limp and others show signs of low humidity stress (the leaves curl up to a crisp on day 2-3 after transplant) The clones are rooted in rockwool cubes and hardened off gradually from day 5 -10, removing the dome completely for a day or 2.
What to do after transplanting clones?
Once transplanted, be sure to water your clone with distilled water immediately otherwise the soil may leach water from your plant’s roots.
