Can you get pregnant on Mesigyna injection?
If women get Cyclofem® and Mesigyna® injections at the right time every month, they are more than 99% effective. This means that if 100 women get Cyclofem® or Mesigyna® injections at the right time, less than 1 woman will become pregnant in a year. However, if the injection is given too late, it becomes 94% effective.
What are the side effects of Nuristerate?
The most commonly reported Nur-Isterate side effects are:

- Spotting or breakthrough bleeding.
- Delayed period.
- Irregular or heavier bleeding.
- Weight gain.
- Headaches.
- Dizziness and/or nausea.
- Skin reactions (such as pain, rash and/or itch at the injection site)
How long does Nur-Isterate take to work?
Radioimmunological studies have shown that, during the first 5 to 7 weeks after injection, ovulation is suppressed as a result of the high plasma level of norethisterone. In addition, NUR-ISTERATE causes morphological changes in the endometrium which have the effect of rendering nidation of a fertilised egg difficult.
Does Mesigyna cause weight gain?
A study that included both Cyclofem and Mesigyna with a large sample of 2252 women in Egypt found that weight gain was not a major cause of discontinuation, although weight gains of approximately 0.33 kg per month were observed in both groups.
Where do you inject Mesigyna?
