Is Gen Chem 2 a hard class?

I had Gen Chem 2 during a summer session and found it to be VERY difficult. Fortunately, having just completed advanced organic, I can say that it was personally the hardest class I have ever taken. Yes, it helps for the MCAT, but don’t start thinking that classes only get worse.

gen chem one was important for gen chem 2, but the depth was entirely different. i mean in gen chem 1 we learned what pH is an indicator of, but in 2 we learned how to calculate it in multiple scenarios given different variables. practice problems are key. get a solutions manual, and do problem after problem.

Is O Chem easier than gen chem 2?

Orgo I was easier for me than Gen Chem II (that was a hell of a class). Orgo II was a wild ride. I personally liked the Orgo sequence better though. I felt like it put the field of chemistry more into focus for me.
