Is the campsite permanent Animal Crossing?
Once you’ve finished selecting a new spot for your campsite, it will be built the next day and your current campsite will be removed. And that’s all there is to it!
What is the point of the campsite Animal Crossing?
The campsite is a returning feature from previous games. Its purpose is to give visitors a place to stay while they check out your town. Once it’s built you should start seeing potential new residents arrive every day or so, at least until your town is full.
Will campers leave Animal Crossing?
After speaking to Tom Nook, he will give the player a housing kit, which the camper will move into once completed. First campers can only be smug villagers after the campsite is built. This specific villager will immediately move in if spoken to, and will not leave until their house has been placed by the player.
How often visit campsite Animal Crossing?

Villagers will visit your campsite approximately 4 times a month. At the very least, you’ll have a period of 4 days separating the arrival of new villagers, so changing the time to 5 days after the current date is best! However, note that there are cases when a villager won’t appear at all for more than 2 weeks.
How do you get Raymond to move in from campsite?
To get Raymond to come to your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons you can do one of two things:
- Encounter Raymond as a random villager while going to Mystery Islands.
- Have him visit your campsite.
- Speak to him on a friend’s island and invite him to live at yours.
Can you reject the first villager in your campsite?
The villager that comes to your island when you first create the campsite is fixed for every island. You can’t change it, so if you want to get a specific villager you’ll have to try from the 2nd visitor on.
What happens after you build the campsite?
Once the campsite is built, there will soon be a tent in its place with a visitor. You can invite any visitors that you want to live on your island by speaking with them and convincing them to move there. You can also use amiibo cards to invite an animal to your campsite.
Can a campsite villager replace a villager in boxes?
Once players convince a random camper to move in, one of two things will happen. If the player has an open plot, the camper will simply claim that space for their home. If the player has a full island, the camper will offer to replace a villager already living on the island.
Can Raymond visit your campsite?
While you have the Campsite on your island, there’ll be a small daily chance that Raymond will appear as a visitor. However, there’s no way to raise this above the regular level, so it’s not really a method you can manipulate, but be sure to check whenever Isabelle announces a new visitor at the Campsite.
