What is C-Find C-move?

C-MOVE request messages are set up exactly the same as C-FIND request messages. The only difference is the inclusion of a MoveDestination element in the XML query message. This move destination is the application entity title where the DICOM instances should be moved to using C-STORE commands.

A C-FIND service conveys the following semantics: The SCU requests that the SCP perform a match for the Matching Keys and return values for the Return Keys that have been specified in the Identifier of the request, against the Relevant Patient Information that the SCP possesses.

How does the DICOM query retrieve service work?

The purpose of the DICOM Query/Retrieve is retrieving images from remote DICOM servers in order to store them locally. After the images have been received, they can be loaded and processed independent of the remote server.

What is Dimse in radiology?
