North Carolina 4-H is an educational program of N.C. State University and N.C. Agricultural and Technical State University and is part of the National 4-H organization. Exhibits will be accepted in the Education Building on the fairgrounds, October 11 from 8 a.m. – 12p.

What’s the difference between 4h and FFA?
FFA (the Future Farmers of America) is a formal education program sponsored by local schools. 4-H is an after school program sponsored by the Extension Service. In some areas, the two programs work together, but in other areas they compete to recruit young people and for resources for competitions like county fairs.

Is FFA just for farmers?
